0306 – An Honest Look at the Arms Trade Treaty
The Arms Trade Treaty commonly referred to as the U.N. Small Arms Treaty is a looming issue that we need to wrap our heads around. There is a lot of hype out there about the treaty and what it means. Today we are going to sort it out the best we can for now!
0268 – Interview with Zach of Helix Arms
Today we have an interview that literally had me laughing out loud both during the recording and again throughout the editing. I hope you find the conversation I had with Zach of Helix Arms as much as we did. We do talk about some serious topics, and no, you shouldn't load your shot shells with rock salt.
0257 – World Champion Max Michel
As far as professional athletes go, action shooters have to be the cream of the crop. There are all kinds of reasons for this that really don't matter. I had a great time sitting down with Max Michel today and we talked about his career, his sponsors. Enjoy the Interview, and have a great day!
0247 – Dealing with Christmas Scum
Whenever we look at crime and violence we need to try to break down the crime so that we can understand it and the dirt that perpetrates that crime. A smash and grab is a simple, fast and relatively effective mode of crime. Entry is typically gained by smashing a glass door or window. Then climbing through the entry point or using that point to manipulate the lock. After entry the shit bags proceed to high probability areas of the home to grab loot and leave. Yup, shit bags.
0245 – The Christmas Spirit
Lets not forget that because it is Christmas we owe it to our husbands and wives, sons and daughters, mothers and fathers to be there to enjoy Christmas this year and for many more to come. Embrace the Christmas Spirit, but never forget that your innocent life has much more value than the life of scum no matter what time of year it is, and not just to your family, but to society as a whole. When someone has earned it, there is nothing wrong with giving the gift of multiple palm strikes to the face or shots to the torso. Get in the spirit and be generous!
0221 – An Interview With Dave Spaulding
I love to learn as much as I love to teach, probably even more. The great thing about learning is that each teacher you have has new lessons to teach you or new ways to learn the lessons you have seen before. Today we talk with Dave Spaulding and for most of you he will probably do a bit of both. Teaching some new and improving on what you already know. Grab some paper, prepare to rewind and re-listen. This stuff is good!
0220 – FF Enhancing Combative Pistolcraft Skills with Dave Spaulding
The weather was perfect, the guys were great and the course of fire was challenging. I got a chance to shoot it and shoot others shooting it. The latter was done with my Nikon of course. That's what I am going to share with you in today's Friday Film. Enjoy the pics.
0218 – 9-11 Series: How Can We Prevent Future Terror Attacks
No one wants to find themselves in the middle of some type of terrorist action. Once we are in the middle, we have lost some or all of the control that we have over ourselves and I have to tell you control is never something I want to surrender. So, it would make sense that just like any other safety issue we should turn our thoughts and efforts to awareness and prevention to help us avoid getting into a situation that we don't want to be in. In the past ten years our country has invested billions of dollars into the prevention of terrorism. Some of that money is well spent, but in general, I think the price tag could have been a lot lower if everyone was willing to put in the sweat equity to stop terrorism.
0209 – Double Plug Your Ears In Dynamic Firearms Training
One is none and two is one. It is an old military axiom and it makes a lot of sense. It is an ideal that I put into play in so many facets of my life. This past weekend in a training session, a session where I brought 5 airsoft guns, for me, 3 airsoft masks, for me, 4 extra gallons of water, for me, two extra pistols, for me, I forgot to double plug, and I paid for it.
0137 – Impressions of a First Time Shooter
One of the common themes of my life has been teaching. No matter what I get involved in I end up teaching it. I have taught lots of fun stuff throughout my life but today I got to teach a common topic for me to someone I NEVER thought I would have a chance to teach. My sister asked me to take her shooting. I was thrilled and jumped at the chance.
