0219 – 9-11 Series: What Can We Do When We Find Ourselves In the Middle of Terrorism
No matter who we are or where we live we run the risk of becoming a victim of terrorism. The prospect of lone wolf actions make the new breed of terrorism difficult to detect. Add to that the fact that terrorists are actively researching the accessibility to targets in urban, suburban and rural areas, we can deduce that anything can happen anywhere. Obviously, we don't want to spend our lives in fear, but at the same time I feel that we must recognize the risks we face and we need to prepare ourselves to handle the situations when they arise.
0215 – FF Walmart Shooting Sparks Controversy
I'm not a lawyer. I don't even proetend to be one on the internet. I do however spend a good bit of time working to understand violence and all of the possible implications it carries with it. There is no doubt that violence carries with it some very serious implications. We must find balance between acting quickly and aggressively enough to preserve our life while showing enough restraint to keep our finances and freedom secure.
0210 – FF Canton CCW Debacle
I have a hard time not covering this video of an LEO interacting with a ccw holder in Canton, Ohio. The overwhelming sentiment is that the cop was way out of line. what I want folks to remember is that for every one LEO that behaves in this manner there are thousands if not tens of thousands of officers that are outstanding in their job. Don't let one bad apple spoil the bushel.

One is none and two is one. It is an old military axiom and it makes a lot of sense. It is an ideal that I put into play in so many facets of my life. This past weekend in a training session, a session where I brought 5 airsoft guns, for me, 3 airsoft masks, for me, 4 extra gallons of water, for me, two extra pistols, for me, I forgot to double plug, and I paid for it.
