An Inside Look at the Caracal F 9mm Striker Fired Pistol

As I got ready to FrogLube the crap out of my Caracal F the other day, I decided to video the internals and share the inside look with you folks.  Disassembly and reassembly were far more complex than I anticipated based on the design principles of the gun.  I’m sure there are some tricks I will learn as I do it more often, I hope I learn them quickly.

Take a look and see what you think about the design of this innovative pistol.

No Ron, not overly critical at all. I am in the same boat. IMO a new striker fired gun needs to do several things to beat out or even compete with the guns on the market already:
      – Fit smaller hands better than the Glock (Caracal eh)
      – Be as reliable as a Gen 3 Glock (Caracal so far so good)
      – Be as simple as a Glock (Caracal not simpler capture those parts!)
      – Have after market accessories to rival that of a glock (only time will tell and what about sights???)

I’m not throwing it away, but I am less enamored than I was. Still open minded though.
