417 – The New S&W M&P M2.0 and What Defensive Handgun Innovation Means to You.

11 years ago the Smith & Wesson M&P entered the handgun market and immediately caused waves.  Almost immediately the M&P pistols began eating away at the GLOCK market share both in the defensive and the professional world as more and more shooters and law enforcement agencies welcomed a new, reliable competitor.

That trend has continued and today the M&P is stronger than ever.  Over time, Smith & Wesson has introduced more calibers, more models, and colors to round out the line to compete even more aggressively in the defensive handgun market.  S&W lead the way with the C.O.R.E. models when it came to pistols that were ready for optics mounting from the factory.  There haven’t been, however, any major changes to the line.  That is until now.
